Ilesoniq Just Announced Phase 2 Of Their Lineup & Daily Schedules
Phase 2 now available
Finally, phase two of IleSoniq’s highly anticipated line up is released. If you’ve not heard of this festival yet than you might have seen it on buses, billboards, and flyers all around downtown Montreal.
IleSoniq is completely new to Montreal and is this city’s first serious electronic music festival. In it’s premiere year, it manages to bring in a broad spectrum of musicians; Tiesto, Zeds Dead, Adventure Club, Cosmic Gate, and Infected Mushroom, to name a few.
Some of the biggest news with phase two is the added I Love Neon stage for both dates. The stage is definitely weighed to the trap side with Gents and Jawns, Sleepy Tom, Mr. Carmack, and Montreal’s beloved bass artist, Vilify. Neon’s stage even manages to dabble with dub, featuring Caspa on the Sunday.
The biggest surprises from phase two are musicians who are not new to Montreal’s music scene. Mr. Carmack seems to have returned for another show after Djemba Djemba and him struck havoc on 4/20. Mr. Carmack rarely tours and stays forever anonymous on Soundcloud so his appearance should draw a large crowd.
Kill The Noise also performed here in May with Mat Zo and will take the Oasis stage on Sunday. Kill The Noise, who’s currently signed to OWSLA, has managed to master live performances.His set is definitely worth waiting around for.
One of the most hidden highlights is Thomas Jack, a deep house mastermind who is first to play on Saturday at the Oasis stage. This Aussie native has made massive moves in the music industry and is not to be missed!
With both phases finally announced, Ilesoniq’s lineup is looking like a quality and diverse list of musicians. Now fit with three stages and weekend passes at $145, you are getting a deal well worth your dollar.
Prepare for the sun, cool people, and good music, as the festival slowly approaches August 15-16th.
