Montreal’s Resto-Bar L’Écurie Is Officially Closing Because They Got Too Popular
The End Of An Era In The Plateau
Montreal’s very trendy L’Écurie Bar Et Table announced this afternoon that it will be closing it’s doors to the public indefinitely on November 1st 2014.
The closure has something to do with problems that arose within the neibourhood caused by the bars rise in popularity over the last few years, said one of the bar’s partners Phil Grisé in a post to facebook this morning.
Luckily, Montrealers still have one last chance to attend a night of debauchery at L’Écurie, mostly known for their ever so popular night “Mardis Pouliches”.
C’est avec regret que nous annonçons la fermeture définitive de L’Écurie bar et tables. Le bar demeurera ouvert jusqu’au 1er novembre inclusivement afin de permettre à tous de vivre une dernière fois l’expérience de L’Écurie. Nous tenons à remercier notre fidèle clientèle pour les trois belles années passées. Le succès qu’a connu l’établissement a malheureusement rendu difficile son exploitation dans le secteur. Ainsi cette fermeture marque la fin d’une belle aventure, mais nous vous invitons à nous suivre que ce soit au Cinko, au Peopl., au Rack’N’Roll ou au 2ième. Merci et au plaisir!
