Igloofest; The Official Lineup For Montreal’s Old Port Winter Music Festival
PREPARE YOURSELF FOR MONTREAL’S MAJESTIC WINTER FESTIVAL. IGLOOFEST IS BACK IN BUSINESS TO BRING OUT THE WILD SIDE OF THIS CITY.
The news that’s been anticipated since the first snowfall is the lineup for this city’s unique winter experience, commonly known as Igloofest.
The event stretches four weeks long from January 16th to February 8th and drew in a crowd of over 80,000 during last year. This is one of Canada’s largest and longest outdoor winter festivals.
One major change this year is a move to the weekly schedule. The festival will now take place every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for all four weekends.
This change is definitely a positive for what it can open in terms of artist’s off days. Musicians rarely will come into a city while off tour if it’s on a Thursday, but Sundays are much more common. In other words, the event now has better chances to bring bigger artists.
