My Crazy Experience Meeting Steve Angello In NYC @ SizeInPark

In lieu to social media and my crazy obsession with EDM, my fun in the park went from playing frisbee with friends to raving with the one and only, Steve Angello!

People of the 90’s thought their lives were over when boy band The Backstreet Boy’s broke up, but they are totally mistaken! The separation of EDM group Swedish House Mafia was without a doubt the bullet for my gun. Although I hate to compare Swedish House Mafia to the overrated Backstreet Boy’s, thank god for Justin Timberlake! If it wasn’t for him, my hope for more music by the God himself, Steve Angello, would be slim to none.

Steve Angello is a master at DJing and producing powerful beats that have to abilities to pulse throughout the human body. I have been a fan of Steve Angello ever since I developed a liking for EDM at a young age, thanks to my older sister. As my passion brewed, I fell in love with Steve and his music. Before his tracks I would have never thought music would have such a strong impact on me.

My love and respect for Steve and his masterpieces caused me to have nothing else to tweet about! It’s crazy that one could have such a deep connection with music that they have nothing else to tweet! I will never forget the first time Steve replied to one of my tweet and he couldn’t have hit the send button at a more perfect time! I was sitting at my desk, miserable, studying for an exam when he answered my tweet! An actual celebrity who probably has 101 more important things to be doing is actually reading my tweets tweeted me back!

Ever since then, my fangirl level has stepped up. I would tweet and post pictures day and night expressing my love. This led to me creating an Instagram fan page dedicated to Steve; @SteveAngelloCanada (don’t feel shy to hit that follow button!!).

Back in September Steve made a contest via twitter where the winner’s will be flown to NYC to meet and experience Size in The Park as VIP. Just my luck, Size Record’s stumbled upon my instagram fan page and started following me. Within a few short weeks, Steve Angello’s people contacted me to inform me that Steve would like to fly me to New York City to meet him in person and get to see him live! It was a surreal moment! i was in shock that this was actually happening to me!

Size in The Park was unreal! Me and my plus one were treated like royalty from the second we got on the plane to NY until the second we arrived back to reality. Steve arranged a private meet and great with him and his selected fans with a surprise visit from AN21, Max Vangeli and Third Party followed by an all exclusive VIP seating for his concert. It was shocking how humble DJ’s are, they are so used to performing on a main stage in front of thousands of fans with vibrations pulsing and such high level’s of audacity but have the capability of living a regular life that shares the same values we all do; love, happiness and modesty!

My love for Steve Angello and his music will never change. I think he is an incredible artist, producer, father and human being who has created positive impacts on others and has lifted so many’s spirits!
