More and more establishments are setting up a brunch service in Montreal and we’re willing to bet it’s because they know us montrealers don’t mess around when it comes to brunching! Jacopo, located in the heart of Old Montreal, expanded its range with a great weekend brunch that offers a delectable mix of local favourites with an Italian twist. What’s unique about it? The menu includes a “make-your-own Bellini kit” option, which is awesome in itself if you ask us.

Located at 436 Place Jacques-Cartier, right in the middle of the buzzing old port area, Jacopo is a versatile address to discover, whether for tourists or locals. Available Saturdays and Sundays, you’re sure to have a festive brunch with your crew in a great space and a warm ambiance. After indulging, it’s the perfect spot to go walk it off near the water and enjoy the scenery.

There’s something for everyone’s taste at Jacopo. Satisfy your sweet tooth with a freshly baked, mouth-watering brioche bun stuffed with whipped cream, or opt for the decadent almond french toast with whipped maple syrup mascarpone. If you’re on the savoury team, the menu also features tons of flavourful egg dishes such as their scrambled eggs mixed with pecorino, parmesan & black pepper, or their poached eggs topped with a rich tomato sauce, served over a homemade focaccia. Portions are decently sized and there’s an intricate element on every plate.

Drinks wise, they knocked it out of the park with their “Make-Your-Own Bellini Kit” : no need to wait for the waiter, you get your own bottles directly at the table and you can make your own drinks whenever you feel like it! Want to change up the flavor? Create a new mix with different juices? Make it stronger or lighter? You’re the bar master and it goes for the whole table.

Jacopo prides itself on its relaxed and easy-going vibe. On the ground floor, clients can find a spacious dining room complete with a charcuterie aging fridge, as well as an espresso and dessert bar, all in pastel tones and calming colours. The second floor harbours an indoor veranda with an intricate mural adorned with lemons & oranges, which brings all the colours of the Mediterranean to life. This is a perfect space for private events.

Jacopo is the Antonopoulos Group’s 15th restaurant in Old Montreal.
