5 Reasons That Make McGill Canada’s Craziest Party School
The Management Undergraduate Society of Mcgill just released an epic aftermovie of their McGill-exclusive concerts that just this past year alone brought in The Chainsmokers, Vicetone, TJR, Will Sparks, and more.
With that, we’re listing off the top 5 reasons McGill is truly Canada’s #1 party school.
1. The MUS Concert Series
It’s obvious from watching that video that these concerts are on another level. McGill-exclusive and always selling out weeks ahead of time, the ragers thrown by the Management Undergraduate Society are some of the craziest in the city.
2. Winter Carnival for Cancer Research
One thousand McGill kids undergoing 7 days and 7 nights of nonstop drinking competitions. This debauchery once put McGill on Playboy’s list of the world’s top party schools, and this year is looking to raise an insane $40k for the Canadian Cancer Society.
3. Frosh Week (and Beach Day)
McGill’s Frosh is known across Canada to be the best, and every year it seems to surpass its own hype for a massively epic weekend that welcomes over 4000 first-years from around the world. Relive it here & here.
4. Parties Every Night of the Week
Between Korova Mondays, BDP Beer Pong Tuesdays, Sangria Wednesdays at the campus bar, and dozens of parties every weekend, McGill kids are the definition of the work hard, play hard lifestyle.
5. The McGill Ghetto
The neighborhood directly east of campus is flooded with McGill kids, and has some of the wildest house parties this side of Project X (without the pools). Walk through on St. Pattie’s and you’ll quickly see why.
