5 Best Après-Ski Bars & Restaurants In The Tremblant Village

The best spring skiing in Quebec can be found at Mont-Tremblant, just 2 hours from the city of Montreal. After a beautiful day of spring skiing inevitably comes the “Après-Ski” experience; drinking, dancing and socializing. Tremblant is one of Quebec’s many international tourist destinations known for it’s cozy village offering a variety of restaurants and bars all located at the foot of the hill.

At times, it can be hard to choose the right terrace for drinks and socializing, especially when there are so many to choose from. So we’ve put a guide together for you of the 5 establishments worth visiting for “Après-ski” while in the Tremblant village.

-Le Petit Caribou

Address: 125 Kandahar Mont-Tremblant, Qc – Middle of the village

Why you need to check them out: Located in the heart of the village, Le Petit Caribou is Tremblants most renowned bar for Après-Ski. Usually they offer beer specials in the afternoon which attracts many of the locals and tourist alike. Known for it’s relaxed atmosphere don’t be surprised to find people dancing on the bar and singing along to the music all the way till closing at 3am.

-Yaooo Pizza Bar

Address: 123 Kandahar, Mont Tremblant, Qc –  Middle of the village

Why you need to check them out: Located in the heart of the village, just a few steps away from Le Petit Caribou, Yaooo Pizza Bar is my favourite spot for food & drinks after skiing in Tremblant. They do not offer a traditional Après-Ski experience; typically involving specials on drinks. However, sitting on their terrace drinking from a big pitcher of cold beer and eating their sensational three cheese thin crust pizza with my friends does this place justice and secures them a spot on this list.

-Bistro Grill La Forge

Address: 3041, chemin de la Chapelle, Mont Tremblant, Qc – Top of the village next to the foot of the hill

Why you need to check them out: Located directly at the foot of the ski hill, Bistro Grill La Forge offers a true ski-inn experience. Offering a full food menu and a great selection of beers La Forge is a great place to relax and drink with friends and family after a big day of skiing. On a typical day of spring skiing you can smell their bbq fired up while waiting in line for the chair lift.

-Le Shack

Address: 3035, chemin de la Chapelle, Mont Tremblant, Qc – Top of the village next to the foot of the hill

Why you need to check them out: Just steps away from La Forge and also at the foot of the hill, Le Shack offers a family friendly environment with a full food menu and great selection of beers. Their terrace overlooks Place Saint-Bernard which is awesome for watching the scheduled shows & entertainment this spring.

-Grand Manitou

Address: Top of the mountain

Why you need to check them out: Located at the peak of the mountain, Le Grand Manitou is the highest altitude bar in Quebec. Their terrace spans a near 180 degrees around the left side of the building offering a spectacular view of the Laurentians. Venture up to take in their outdoor BBQ’s every afternoon during spring…. they fire up the BBQ for burgers and beer! A must try while visiting Tremblant.
