Frozen Beer: A New Drink Trend Taking Over Toronto

Grabbing a cold one just got a lot colder.

Frozen beer, otherwise known as “polar beer”, has arrived in Toronto just in time for what will hopefully be a blazing hot summer. Frozen Beer, a Japanese trend, has a sub zero foam that traps the cold and keeps your beer chilly for up to 20 minutes.

Frozen Beer Outselling Regular Pints

The Polar Beer is so popular that it is outselling regular pints says Rachel Schweitzer, a waitress at Don Don Izakaya. For Toronto, the Polar Beer has hit the taps of 5 Iconic Izakayas across the city:
