Deadmau5 Is Confirmed to Play IleSoniq Afterparty at Stereo
Among the surge of official after-parties announced post IleSoniq, the one that’s kept everyone waiting is at Stereo.
It originally started as a few wishful Facebook comments that turned into a surreal realization. The official Stereo remained relatively discreet and low radar as other pre parties and post parties flourished across Montreal.
It was not until a few wondrous people walked past Stereo After-hours in broad daylight that they noticed an odd addition to the line up posted outside the venue’s doors.
Sure enough as the picture proves below, a legendary event is to take place on the Friday night after IleSoniq’s premiere day. Deadmau5 will play an after hours set to the early hours of Saturday morning to celebrate headlining the festival.

The other main after-party planned for the Friday features French label head Busy P alongside DJ Pone at SAT.
Saturday night will also see a special performance from Michael Sparks at Circus Afterhours closing the final parties for IleSoniq with a powerful play of material.
Consider that this is IleSoniq’s only second year and already the festival has received international support and attention from more than just the artists alone. The festival has attracted all electronic music fans interests and will do for a long time.
I feel it safe to say that the festival shows no signs of leaving. Montreal needs IleSoniq and IleSoniq loves Deadmau5!
