An Extra Christmas Themed Bar : Miracle Montreal is Back for A Third Year
If you’re itching to bust out your ugly Christmas jumper because you can’t wait for the 25th, have no fear, there’s a place where you can start wearing it starting now alongside fellow eager patrons : Miracle Montreal. Magic, astonishment, disbelief and bliss are what you can expect from this all-around Christmas fantasy land. Created to make you experience a grown-up Christmas experience, you have seen nothing like this before.
The concept started in 2014 in New-York by the owners of Mace cocktail bar. The demand was so strong that they now have over 90 locations all over the world taking part in this yearly tradition. For its 3rd edition in Montreal, the pop-up bar Miracle lands on 139 St-Paul street, right in the heart of the breathtaking old port. Running all through December until the 30th, you have plenty of time to visit it once or make it a habit to dive nose first into the holiday spirit.
The original cocktail menu was created by internationally renowned bartender Nico de Soto, also co-owner of Mace in New-York and Danico established in France. The updates taken to please the local palate are the work of Pierre-Hugues Marois, head-bartender of Coldroom and El Pequeno in Montreal, winner of many bartending competitions.
You’ll be able to enjoy the classics of the cocktail world but tweaked with memorable holiday flavors to bring a smile to everyone as well as a nice comforting feeling associated with the holidays.
Only at Miracle Montreal will you see the Grinch cocktail menu, available for those who would rather stay close to the type of drinks the Coldroom would offer typically. It is tempting to stick to what we all know and like, but the holiday flavors like cinnamon, pumpkin, spearmint and cranberries make us all feel extra festive.

The Baroque style design with overload of lights, stars, pine trees and holiday colors is a showstopper in itself. Every single furniture or decor accessory will remind you of precious Christmas memories and the winter wonderland that’s oh so pleasing to the eye. For one evening, step into an enchanted room that is so cheerful that it’s borderline surreal.
The music selection will definitely make every client sing their heart out with songs that we are all too shy of knowing by heart. All of us Michael Bublés and Mariah Careys of this world will lose their voices before the end of the month, and we’re okay with that.

After the month of festivities, the whole team behind Miracle Montreal and The Coldroom will give back a major part of the proceeds received to The Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation. Needless to say that it was a unanimous decision across all members to give back the love that they received during the duration of the pop-up.
