Zeds Dead and Skream Speak About Dubstep at Buku Festival

Zeds Dead and Skream Talk About Skrillex, Dubplates, Warehouse Raves and More in Latest Coffee Break Edition.

If you follow Zeds Dead’s Coffee Break series, then you’ll have seen the duo speak with several other popular musicians over a cup of coffee. They’ve spoken with everyone from Dillon Francis, Zedd, Porter Robinson, Tommie Sunshine, to Paper Diamond.

Now these two Toronto natives have caught up with Croydon born bass producer Skream. His influence during the early years of the millennium in electronic music  can not be overstated. Skream and Benga were a revolutionary duo that artists like Skrillex, Rusko, and Datsik have all credited for inspiration.

Despite the humorous undertone that is lined on Zeds Dead’s usual coffee break episodes, this particular episode deluges deeper into dubstep’s history. There is also no coffee break here fortunately either, instead the artists turn to liquor in a british edition of the coffee series.

On a side note, make sure to notice the duo’s graffiti mural at Buku Festival in the first 20 seconds of the video.
