Montreal’s AIM Festival Releases Second Stage of Lineup to Public
The Montreal Region is Receiving A Brand New Camping Festival Called AIM. Taking place from June 26 to 28, this summer stretch will be a deep transition into July.
The festival known as AIM is coming to the St-André d’Argenteuil area at Parc Carillon. The camping grounds are located on an open field right beside the Outaouais River. Shuttles are offered through the first two days from Montmorency subway in Montreal.
The AIM initiative started through François Lebaron who is a co-founder of the event. He chose the location with Michel Tardif intending to make a unique festival experience in the vast music industry. Their project has progressed significantly and is receiving a positive response all around.
The festival draws inspiration from a European aesthetic and François feels that the Canadian market is starting to adapt similar practices. AIM it seems is a long term investment, considering that the festival will spark interest in Montreal’s culture and has already started to grow outward.
AIM Festival is special in the sense that it constantly is running on high energy and groovy music. The festivities run from Friday at 3pm to 11pm and then Saturday 10 am straight tell Sunday 6pm. In total there will be 32 hours of non stop majestic music.
The crew behind the facility also intends to launch a series of workshops and daily activities for the attendees. There will also be three stages set up for the entire festival occasion that each appeal to a different strand of musical preference.

In the meantime, check out AIM Festival’s preview video that features footage of the camping grounds and entire lineup. It may start on a rather eerie tone, but the video takes an unexpected turn as a few people become sucked up into a vortex of AIM’s musical creation.
