F1 Festivities 2017 : A Quick Guide For This Weekend
The Formula 1 Grand Prix of Canada is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, which represents a phenomenal opportunity to attend great parties and awesome festivities.
Almost every spot has something planned to celebrate the craziest weekend of the year, but here are some of the major events that will take place in Montreal from June 8 to 11. With VVIP evenings, high-flying culinary art and outdoor festivals, the program has been designed by its promoters to delight everyone, from Formula 1 fans to business people, tourists, epicureans, families and night owls.

ALL WEEKEND
LA PLACE DU 50E
For the first time, the Square Dorchester park in downtown Montreal will become the landmark of F1 lovers with la Place du 50e. Free and full of activities for the whole family, everyone will be able to live the Formula 1 Grand Prix fever as if they were there.
On the agenda, D-BOX, the main partner of the event, will propel its racing simulators in order to fully live the F1 experience. In addition, a 32-seat D-BOX theater will feature racing content that allows the audience to experience the acceleration, the braking feel and the vibrations of the engine in action. A go-kart track, presented by the Quebec giant ICAR, will allow aspiring pilots to practice on the spot.
To mark the 50th anniversary of the Canadian Grand Prix, you will be able to admire a retrospective of the past 50 years, featuring, among other things, unpublished photographs of the history of Canadian racing as well as many historic cars from the Gilles Villeneuve Museum. Amateurs who do not have the chance to go to the circuit to see the trials or the race will be able to enjoy the live broadcast on a giant screen.
