The 2nd Golden Square Mile Restaurant Week : a Gourmet Event in the Heart of Downtown Montreal

With the number of restaurants opening in the city, trying them all can become a problem for our wallet so we always welcome good rates. The Golden Square Mile Tourism Development Society launched the 2^nd edition of Golden Montreal Restaurant Week, a gourmet event with attractive prices that will take place in the most prestigious part of downtown Montreal.

Taking place from September 17^th until September 23^rd, a fantastic selection of 7 restaurants will be offering menus at fixed prices for lunch, dinner or brunch in the Golden Square Mile. Prices will vary between $30 and $45 for establishments on the higher end of the spectrum.

The area houses some of the city’s finest architectural establishments, as well as remarkable institutions, prestigious hotels, gastronomic restaurants, boutiques, art galleries, and many other attractions. A rich history and an exceptional vitality.

Participating restaurants this year include contemporary cuisine from Le Beaux-arts Restaurant, Les Enfants Terribles and Restaurant le XVI-XVI,  delicious food from Soubois, Spanish flavours from Ibérica, French Mediterranean tastes from Gustave Restaurant and SLK RD Restaurant showcasing flavors of the world.

Golden Square Mile’s Restaurant Week was created to promote the neighborhood’s gastronomy and create a buzz around the event in order to attract business people and visitors to recognize the Golden Square Mile as a gourmet destination of choice in Downtown Montreal.
