Chef On Call : Gourmet Late Night Bites
Night snacks and tasty deliveries made easy
Whether after an eventful night out or studying late hours, food that is available past a certain curfew is not always the healthiest option or sometimes you just want diversity from the regular fast food. Noticing the lack of options in that busy sphere, the delivery service and now restaurant Chef on Call was created.

Located on Parc corner Sherbrooke in downtown Montreal, the concept has expanded into a full on 40 seat dine-in restaurant. You can now dine comfortably in a friendly atmosphere with the same high quality dishes.
Started by friends and former roommates Robert Kauffman and Gabriel Malbogat, what was once a small kitchen with a few menu items has now turned into quite an adventure. Seven years later, they are excited to launch their new space for you to enjoy delicious food and a catering service, while continuing with the well-loved affordable delivery business.

The variety of the menu is impressive and well thought out; it includes comfort food items for meat lovers as well as options for vegetarians, from all-time classics to creative remakes. Another great aspect of this joint is the fact that everything is made in-house, from the breaded crispy chicken tenders to the succulent dipping sauces, which means no strange ingredients or additives, therefore providing the best quality to their clients.
Whether you’re in the mood for a poutine, a big burger, curly fries or even a healthy salad in the middle of the night, you’re sure to find more than enough to fill your stomach and enchant your taste buds. Don’t forget to leave room for their creamy oreo milkshake or a decadent deep-fried mars chocolate bar. Yes you read that right.

When looking at the decor, it’s noticeably clever and well-suited for the establishment’s concept. With yellow, black, and white ceramic tiles, contrasting wood trimmings and trendy stools with slogans, the location pays homage to its late night hours and Montreal’s nightlife scene.

“We wanted to create something special, not your ordinary fast food joint.” – Gabriel Malbogat.
He adds, “We really took our time designing the locale. Every small detail is inspired by places we’ve been around the world. Our intention was to transfer the atmosphere of a city that never sleeps.”

Chef On Call is open from 11AM to 2AM from Sunday to Wednesday and from 11AM to 4 am from Thursday to Saturday.
