Taylor: 1) Growing up as a teenager, was your main focus always on dance music, or have other genres of music influenced you.

Nause: Back in Stockholm Sweden, Electronic Music wasn’t so big until just a few years ago. We always enjoyed listing to Swedish rap music. We had a huge interest in every genre` of music. When we first heard electronic music, we feel in love with it right away. We wanted to start djing and then producing music. In 2008, electronic music started to become very popular, then it slowly got onto the radio stations. The Whole dance music scene in Europe has always been big. For example in the Netherlands, they had dance music since 20 years ago.

Taylor: 2) How did you boys meet each other and create this Swedish duo?

Nause: Our fathers have been friends for many years, so they introduced us. We slowly started to become really good friends. We had the same interest in music so we always enjoyed each others company. We both wanted to start producing music so we decided we should work together. When we were 18, we got our first programmer that we fooled around with a lot. We spent 10 minutes a day playing around. We sent out our music to people and they were shocked how good it was. From that day on, we worked harder on our music and took everything seriously.

Taylor: 3) Your latest songs ” Move” and ” Head over Heels” have been going off billboards in Sweden & England, how does it feel to get all the support?

Nause: We started off liking dance music before it was popular. We produced songs before everything started sounding the same. The songs “move” and “Head Over Heels” were easy to make because we enjoyed producing it so much. It was enjoyable to spend time in the studio. We got to release our first single with Universal Music and John Dahlbackhi’s label which gave us a huge boost. We also got support from Tiesto, that was amazing. We’ve been pretty lucky over the past few years, radio stations all around Europe were picking up our singles and playing them. It was good seeing our songs getting popular.

Taylor: 4) You recently started a monthly radio show, what should listeners expect?

Nause: The radio show we just started is something for us to share with our fans and people who we cannot play for. We create music that isn’t heard at our sets. Its very different and special to us. We select the tracks that go onto our 1 hour show.

Taylor: 5) Where did the idea of a radio show come from? How will your fans and listeners benefit from this?

Nause: Were thinking of starting a promo, where everyone can send in their music. Once a month we will choose our winner to feature in one of our sets. This will benefit our fans because not only will they be able to see us on tour, they will be able to listen to us on our radio show. Its a way to communicate with everybody around the world.

Taylor: 6) Any new collaborations coming out with DJ’s? Any new remixes or songs being released you would like to tell us about?

Nause: We have a lot of original music we have been working on for months. We are going to release a new single on June 2nd. We’ve been on tour for so long that once we get back to Sweden, we are locking ourselves in the studio and working on more music. Montreal is our last stop of the tour, so were really excited to play at New City Gas. The tour has been amazing so far, we played almost every club in the US and Canada. It was an amazing experience getting out of Europe and exploring the rest of the world.

Taylor: 7) Is this your first time in Canada? What were your favorite places you toured in North America?

Nause: Yes, this is our first time in Canada. We love it here. We played Toronto 2 times already and Calgary, now Montreal. Every city, every country has a different vibe from one another. Each place has its special feeling to it. We’ve had so many good shows its to hard to choose from. Its been 2 hectic months, we havent really been able to hang out and have time for ourselves. Once we get back home to Sweden, were going right back to work. We stay in the studio for about 11 hours a day, its fun when your creating new music that you enjoy.

Taylor: 8) What should fans be excited for in 2014?

Nause: We have a lot of new music coming up that we are excited to share. We are doing a really big festival tour in Sweden with a sick production, its going to be really cool. Were starting a Bus tour which will be different and really fun. Other then that, well be back on tour in North America very soon.
