Mtl Bar Et Bouffe Is Montreal’s Awesome New Food Festival
A new food event that won’t break your wallet
Introducing the festival that will keep you and your friends busy for 10 straight days thanks to its clever concept. Going out for drinks is great, but munching on some delicious bites on the side is even better thanks to Mtl Bar Et Bouffe.
Starting March 26th to April 4th, no less than 20 of the hottest establishments in Montreal will take part in an awesome project that allow you to discover what the city has to offer. From risotto and burgers to amazing salads, from fish to vegetarian options, believe us when we say that it’s diversified.
Throughout those 10 days, each restaurant will present you 3 succulent pairings of a dish and a cocktail (or beer), which means you’ll have a grand total of 60 pairings to satisfy your hunger. The chefs and mixologists came up with the best pairings so your palate can enjoy a tasty marriage between all the bold flavours.
Apt. 200, Baron Samedi, Barraca, Drinkerie Ste-Cunégonde, Fitzroy, La Flèche, Grenade, Helm, Henri Saint-Henri, Huis Clos, Lorbeer, Mimi la Nuit, Monsieur Smith, Notkins, Quai no.4, Rachel Rachel, Shinji, Suwu, Taverne Normand, and Taverne Saint-Sacrement will be in charge of leading this first edition of the festival.
As if you needed more convincing, the moderate price is the icing on the cake. Tickets are already on sale for 15$ for one pairing on the official website or through vie urbaine. If you decide on a whim to head out to one of the restaurants, tickets will be available on-site at the price of 19$.
A reliable source told us that if it all goes well, the second edition will take place in November. Fingers crossed!
