You Can Now Brunch At Soubois, Montreal’s Echanted Forest

Yet another brunch spot to hit with your squad

Montreal’s food game keeps going strong whether it’s with new restaurants opening or new menus popping up each month. Always innovating, establishments are constantly looking for ways to please their patrons and this is where the almighty brunch concept comes in. This formula keeps gaining exponential popularity and Soubois picked up on that.

The fine restaurant is now open for not only fabulous dinner nights that are followed by bottle service and DJs, but for brunch as well. Curated by the amazing chef Guillaume Daly, you can expect an intricate take on some brunch classics, as well as creative additions to it.

Available every sunday from 11AM to 4PM, here are some of the succulent dishes you and your friends can devour in Montreal’s enchanted forest.

  • Eggs benedict on top of English muffins and wild mushrooms

Eggs are a staple, but this dish isn’t simple. The array of mushrooms brings an earthy and rustic taste to the classic recipe, and the sauce brings a nice balance to the plate.

  • Compton grilled cheese with truffle and white ham

The show-stopper of the menu. The well-loved grilled cheese is a timeless favorite for everyone but this takes it to a whole other level. The truffle, ham and cheese come together beautifully in a flavour profile that will bring you palate on a journey.

  • Labrador tea pancakes with ricotta and wild blueberries

For people who prefer a sweeter alternative in the morning. Crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside, the texture is mind-blowing. The ricotta cuts through the sweetness of the pancakes and the blueberries just enough to complement it without being overpowering. One of our favorite dishes of the brunch.

  • Beef and egg

The name is pretty self-explanatory, although the flavours speak volumes. The cut of meat is wonderful on its own because of the cook on it and its tenderness, but the egg on top adds a nice richness to the dish that ties the concept altogether.

  • Bagel with smoked salmon and gold covered cream cheese

Another regular when it comes to breakfast, but way tastier and refined. The cream cheese is light, smooth and the taste is spot on. You also feel like royalty when you have layers of edible gold on your bagel.

  • Lobster with champagne sabayon and caviar

Brunching like champs has never been more accurate. Lobster is always a good idea, especially when the cook on it is so great. Buttery smooth with a delicious sabayon sauce that doesn’t cover up the true taste of the crustacean, you can’t go wrong with this one.
