VertU Bar Santé: A New Healthy Destination In The Mile-End
Another healthy option in the city
Foodies in Montreal could not be happier with the number of restaurant openings always rising. Between the renowned establishments and the new hip spots in the Mile-End, you will find this new place called VertU where you are guaranteed to enjoy a refreshing meal.

Located at 125 Saint-Viateur, VertU Bar Santé is a new healthy destination that offers juices, smoothies and salads within a relaxed zen atmosphere. Providing the perfect setting for a colourful and health-conscious meal bursting with flavour, you’re sure to find a dish that will enchant your taste buds.
This isn’t your regular health spot; each recipe is carefully thought through and creative, which doesn’t leave you disappointed with a boring tasteless dish. Made to order salads, burritos, freshly pressed juices and velvety smoothies, you’re sure to find an abundance of delicious superfood ingredients such as acai berries, chia seeds and kale on the menu.

Inspired by a documentary and after facing some health issues, Andy Aboushaybeh (LABARAKE caserne à manger, Boulangerie & Cie, and Terrasses Bonsecours) set out on a quest to gather as much information as possible for a path to healthy living. He then brought his ideas to his wife and partners and the concept behind VertU was born.

The decor of the open-space, courtesy of designer Marie-Eve Issa of Issa Design, includes clever elements such as a bright blue sky ceiling that will offer reminders of calming summer days, as well as bright pastel colours that pay homage to the menus many delicious fruits and vegetables. The focus in the middle is the centerpiece, which is a large infinity table that complements the bright nutritower, allowing fresh herbs to grow all year round.

Whether for a quick on-the-go smoothie packed with colourful nutrients or a calm place to enjoy a laidback tasty meal, give VertU Bar Santé a try and let us know what you think!
