[RECAP] New City Gas Hosted Produktworld This Past Labour Day Weekend
New City Gas had all of Montreal bouncing this past weekend with their yearly labour day event ‘Produktworld’ which featured an incredible lineup of DJ’s, and showcased New City Gas’s potential for production visuals. These improvements included fireworks, fire machines, more confetti, interesting performers within the crowd, and Kryoman which is always a crowd pleaser.
The energy at @newcitygas right now!!!! Get these DJ’s a hammer because they are NAILING IT.

Similar to a large music festival, New City Gas utilized each of their 3 stages, incorporating all different music styles- giving a little something for everybody. Sunday night was particularly my favourite night, and I want to commend New City Gas for putting together the best possible lineup that could have been thought out. On Sunday night, Mark Knight held down the terraces with a BBQ that transcended into a 7 hour extended set of house music with one of the most relaxed and amazing vibes I’ve ever experienced. To contrast this, Laidback Luke rocked the main stage dropping bangers with an incredible light show that had everybody either popping bottles or bouncing as hard as they possibly could to his incredible set. Seriously, I tried leaving a few times to go to the bathroom but had a fear of missing out and ended up staying until the very end. When I did make it to the bathroom, I completely forgot why I was there because araabMUZIK had me, along with everybody else, dancing as hard as we could to his incredible set as well. Both araabMUZIK and Mark Knight had very intimate sets, with fans literally coming to the stage and dancing, taking pictures and throwing in song requests which was such an incredible experience. Long story short- if I could design my own heaven- I would steal New City Gas’s floor plan of their Produktworld set up.

Presale tickets ranged from a low price of $69.99 for 3 nights, but that didn’t stop the lineups at the door each night with people willing to spend over $50 per night to see their favourite DJ’s. We knew this weekend was going to be amazing, and luckily for anybody who missed out on it, New City Gas has presented yet another incredible lineup for the following month. Montreal Nightlife will keep all of you updated on what to look forward to and where to acquire tickets, so do so quickly before they sell out!
