Montreal’s Old Port Now Has A 1200 Foot Zipline Flying Over The Bonsecours Island
Enjoy Montreal 80 feet above ground!
From May 15th till October 31st, Montreal’s Old Port will have its very first urban zipline.
Avid adrenaline seekers aged 7 and up will have the chance to experience an unforgettable ride taking them across one of Montreal’s most historic sites.
Participants will enjoy a spectacular view of the city’s beautiful architecture and skyline while zipping across the Old Port from 80 feet up in the air.

Zipline MTL offers a 45 second exhilarating ride. By flying over the Bonsecours island, participants will have the impression they are landing in the Saint-Laurence river as they reach the arrival tower just a few feet from the waters’ edge. Two parallel cables will be available which will allow for friends to zip side by side.
According to Samuel Cadotte, the young entrepreneur who dreamt up the concept; “This project is a dream come true for me. I wish for Montrealers and tourists alike to experience unforgettable moments as they endeavour this amazing urban attraction»
Having already encountered instant success with a first urban zipline they setup in Febuary 2015 during Montréal en Lumière Festival, MTL Zipline will offer an enhanced experience now that the installation will be 80 feet tall and the ride will be nearly 1,200 feet long.
Opening hours are from 10 AM to 10 PM everyday, and until 11:30 PM on firework nights.
