Hardwell, Dada Life, Deep Dish, and more Announced For Beachclub’s Summer 2015
As Spring Approaches, DJs Are Already Being Announced To Perform At Montreal’s Beachclub and The Lineup Is Enormous.
The warm weather is slowly starting to sneak back as the days become brighter for longer. Yet it is not only the temperature that has Montrealers excited.
The oasis known as Beachclub has officially released the first few headliners for this spring and summer season.
News of two more major musicians can be expected on the upcoming two Mondays.
In early January we saw news that new owners were going to invest roughly 1.5 million into improving the experience offered.
Beachclub has detailed what some of these added features will be, such as an extendable roof for rainy occasions, extra washrooms, new cabanas around the pool, and more to come.
Here is the lineup of musical acts announced so far for the 2015 summer season at Beachclub.
Dada Life – May 17th
Every time these two Swedish giants grace Montreal with their energy, the crowd goes absolutely bananas.
I’m referring to the sheer amount of banana costumes that clutter the crowd and fresh produce that people bring to snack on mid show. I’m not kidding about this.
The high pace tracks and larger-than-life synths that the Dada duo have developed over the years is signature to their sound now.
Their music is fun and vibrant, with a frequent taste of heavier bass that reinforces their hard hitting style.
If anyone knows how to throw a party, it’s Dada Life.
These two together in the warm weather at Beachclub sounds perfect for setting the spring season into full swing.
Hardwell – May 24th
The latest announcement and one of the biggest surprises for Beachclub this season is Dutch musician Hardwell.
His return to Beachclub will truly be significant after having played a monstrous set in September, 2013. The reappearance of Hardwell is welcomed by everyone with open arms and big hearts.
After the success of his first real album, ‘United We Are’, you can be assured to hear the full track list in his live set. The Revealed Records founder may also play a range of unreleased material from artists such as Dannic, Swanky Tunes, Mako, and more.
Hardwell is the number one DJ two years and running, as voted by DJ Magazine.Despite the controversy around the election process, it is undeniable that Hardwell is an impressive musician to see live.
Hardwell obtains a high level of excitement on stage that becomes proliferated among his audience.
JUICY M – June 13th
One artist that is realistically the most unfamiliar of all acts announced so far, is the infamous female DJ, Juicy M.
Originally hailing from Ukraine, Juicy M has been able to keep her musical taste relative and fresh to cater to the interests of the audience.
Juicy M has her own radio show and has released a handful of stellar house remixes.
She primarily sticks in progressive sounds and big room records, but can easily play a cross over set that moves into more experimental sounds.
For the middle of June this summer, this set is certain to be blazing.
DEEP DISH – June 28th
For those who prefer the deeper side of dance music, Beachclub and DEEP DISH have you covered.
This legendary duo consists of spooky house legend Sharam and Igloofest’s favourite, Dubfire.
Both artists together create the powerful force of Deep Dish, which is sure to serve you a set of groovy tracks and more techno infused tempos.
DEEP DISH rarely play intimate settings like Beachclub and generally stick to the festival season, such as last year headlining at Digital Dreams in Toronto.
It’s surprising to see these two come together for a performance in the middle of summer and even more exciting that it will be at Beachclub.
DJ Bl3nd – July 25th
The notorious DJ Bl3nd is the summer’s latter headliner and a serious contender to other DJs for who to see this season.
His session in the dead heat of Montreal’s summer is expected to be wild and refreshing.
Having received a serious amount of positive and negative publicity in recent years, DJ Bl3nd seems to have brushed off the worst and continues to do what he enjoys.
No one can contend that his live shows consist of a frenzy of mashed tracks with a lively presence on stage.
