The Ilesoniq 2015 Lineup Is Released and It’s Outstanding

One of the last festival lineups to be released is îleSoniq and the wait was well worth it. The official list of musicians playing the second year is impressively big and diverse.

The time has come for Montreal’s new EDM event to release the flyer for their lineup in 2015. Last year was the premiere year for îleSoniq, but it became widely renown quickly because of the immediate gratification from fans.

The festival takes place this year from August 14th to 15th and is located at Parc Jean-Drapeau on Helen’s Island. There will be a total of three stages again, all with certain genres that cater to an audience respectively.

The first name that sticks out is Toronto producer deadmau5 who will headline the Oasis stage on the first day.  Kaskade, Die Antwoord, Flosstradamus, Borgeous, and Rae Sremmund will all also play at the Oasis stage on the Friday.

The Neon stage on the same date is easily one of  îleSoniq’s highlights this year because of the amount of deep house music. Dutch musician Bakermat will be performing, who was recently interviewed for the site.  Get Real will close and is composed of Claude VonStroke and Green Velvet; an epic duo together.

Tchami, Armin Edge and Dance, and Shiba San are all playing at DJ Snake’s Pardon My French stage on the first day. These three major musicians are all extremely influential in the G-house movement and are sure to keep this stage nonstop dancing. The Pardon My French Stage is exclusively curated by DJ Snake and Ilesoniq to bring only French artists.

Trance fanatics will be pleased by Above & Beyond being announced to offer some group therapy at the Oasis stage on August 16th. There is a versatile mix of artists playing here on this date, which even incorporated Hodor from Game of Thrones playing a DJ set.

The Neon stage the second day brings us back to the vibes from last year, meaning more of a trap theme. ODESZA will close the event preceded by Mat Zo, Trippy Turtle, Ookay, and more.

The Montreal performers are scattered throughout the entire lineup, but there is a fair amount of local artists playing. Such names include Black Tiger Sex Machine, an electro three piece team. Paris & Simo, a duo who originate in house music. Snails, one of OWSLA label’s rising stars, and the deep house duo Prince Club.

There is still a whole other column of artists still to be announced at the Bud Light stage on the first day that will be announced in May. Currently Toronto duo DVBBS is the headliner set to perform and launch a world premiere of their Mount Woozy stage.

Without further ado, check out the full lineup yourself below.
