Piknic Electronik Reveals Phase Two For The Rest of Summer’s Lineup
The Final Phase of Piknic Electronik’s Summer-long line-up is out and ends the season with an impressive listing!
The summer so far has provided an ample amount of Piknic Electronik’s all over the city of Montreal. There seems to be an increase in free events as Piknic takes place on Mont-Royal, at the new UQAM Beer Gardens, and on off days at its official home on Parc Jean-Drapeau.
Each Sunday event seems to outshine the last, as the crowd grows bigger and bigger every week with news of Piknic’s success spreading.
The management behind artists’ bookings have decided to not hold back for the final few weeks. Piknic Electronik goes more outlandish than ever with some seriously versatile acts performing in July, August, and September.
Among those listed below in their promotional video, highlights are easily upon Montreal’s own rapper and producer Lunice. After playing a surprise set at Fool’s Gold’s Homecoming Block Party, it’s safe to say that his energy on stage is suited for Piknic’s atmosphere.
Other obviously well chosen candidates are Jackmaster and Mistress Barbara. Jackmaster is a Scotish house DJ well known for his spooky style and acid sounds. Mistress Barbara had the luxury of playing Igloofest last year and will return with her darker and deep music.
Lastly, the biggest surprise on the lineup announcement is to see Beaux Degats return for a warmer collaboration together. The monthly art competition will showcase teams of artists pitted against each other through equally creative limitations.
