The 8th Edition Of The Happening Gourmand Is A Montreal Foodie’s Dream Come True

The holidays are over but don’t stop eating just yet

Rejoice, foodies! Here is yet another good reason to go out and dine these next few weeks, and it’s all thanks to the Happening Gourmand.

From January 8th to February 8th, the festival will celebrate its 8th edition, which is a good testimony of how successful and popular it is.

Inspired by the Restaurant Week in New-York, the concept behind Happening Gourmand allows people to discover food from some of the best establishments in the city.

Not only that, but since we all are a little short on cash because of the holiday season, each spot offers their table d’hôte at a pretty reasonable price.

Happening Gourmand offers patrons a gourmet 3 course meal priced at 21$, 25$ or 29$.

It truly is as simple and awesome as that. Each restaurant also created a unique cocktail just for this month-long event.

Participating restaurants located in the Old Port include Kyo Bar Japonais, Mechant Boeuf, Taverne Gaspar, Modavie, Vieux-Port Steakhouse, Verses, BEVO Bar + Pizzeria and Suite 701.

As if all that wasn’t enough, as a freebie, diners will also have the privilege of getting a discount on a ticket for Igloofest (amazing acts you don’t wanna miss!). Instead of 20$, the ticket will cost 18$.

Scroll through the different menus now and get your taste buds ready!
