9 summer sangria recipes to share with friends this summer

Sangria is my favourite summer beverage and I’m sure it’s yours too.

I took the opportunity of teaming up with Les Terrasses Bonsecours in order to share with you their (usually) highly guarded secret sangria recipes. Lucky you, they made an exception and decided to share them with world.

Located in the heart of the Old-Port of Montreal, Les Terrasses Bonsecours is known for their mouthwatering sangrias, their delicous bistro style tapas menu, and their “famous” Boozy Brunches. Terrasses Bonsecours is the perfect place to enjoy a sangria under the summer sun when you are visiting Montreal.

I understand not everyone can make it out to Les Terrasses Bonsecours, so i’ve put together a list of their 9 most popular summer sangria recipes. This list will be your secret weapon this summer when it comes to planning BBQs and parties with friends.

Please clarify the measurements in these recipes. In the example of the first recipe (1/3 ice, 1/3 White wine, 1/3 pineapple juice mixed with Sprite, 2oz Blue Alizé, 2oz Grand Marnier, 1.5oz Curaçao, and topped with blueberries.) What exactly is a 1/3? When in the same recipe ounces are used.

Hi Jennifer Arndt, the ounces of liquor do not need to be exact. It depends on how strong you would like your drink to be. The recipes in the article are for a standard sized 60oz pitcher of sangria.

Hi Christa, what you are seeing are the frozen blueberries slowly melting/mixing into the bottom of the sangria. The blue one is easily one of my favourites. You should definitely try making it at home. Let me know if you have any other questions :). Cheers

Hmmm….I added frozen Wild Blueberries from Sobeys and everything went BLACK (we were trying the Blue Sangria but our sangria was deep sea green to start) but that was cool 'cause we dubbed it our PIRATE Sangria and everybody went ARRRRR! so it was a great tasting hit nonetheless! 😉

    Hi there,
I am wondering how do you pour the ingredients for the Blue Sangria, Is it as the list says it or is there a specific order I should be doing it? Please advise I have friends coming over and I would so like to serve it like on the pic…
