Cafe Livia Downtown Has Reopened Today Offering a New Menu
As Montreal got the green light to reopen restaurants under strict guidelines, many foodies are excited to go back to dining out and devouring chefs’ specialties. While many establishments navigate these restrictions and choose their next move, some of them have already opened on week one and are eager to welcome you back! Rejoice everyone; the long awaited moment is finally here and we’re excited to resume exploring restaurants and terraces all summer.
Cafe Livia downtown reopened its doors today on June 25th and although the space can only operate at 50% capacity, the team has made some major changes to the decor as well as the menu, so it can be a great experience that’s both enjoyable and safe for everyone.

Located at 1468 Peel, Cafe Livia is open daily for dine in, take-out and delivery through all major apps. The outdoor terrace will be available in the next few weeks so you and your friends can bask in the sun while filling up on tasty, healthy and fresh dishes.
The menu has undergone some changes but rest assured that a couple of classics like the açai bowl, the avocado toast and the poke bowls will all be returning. Alongside those will also be three of the most ordered salads, the cobb, papaya and the pad thai. They may have changed the seating chart but they haven’t compromised on flavours.

New menu items to lookout for include the chicken wrap (spinach wrap, free-range grilled chicken, rice, avocado, cherry tomatoes, low-fat mozzarella and pesto), the seared tuna wrap (spinach wrap, seared tuna, rice, avocado, spinach, carrot, low-fat mozzarella and pesto) and the vegan chickpea bowl (roasted chickpeas, quinoa, kale, avocado, corn, spinach, red chili, maple balsamic and homemade tahini dressing). All of the new Livia sweets and treats like cakes, cookies, blondies, etc, will also be sold on the spot, ready to go.

For beverages, Cafe Livia will be keeping on their menu all the delicious matcha based drinks made from real matcha imported from Uji in Japan. Their vanilla iced coffee however needs to be highlighted since it’s a winner for the summertime.
New additions to the beverage menu include vegan smoothies like açai berry, tropical fruit and a green smoothie. Those refreshing drinks can all have protein added to them to turn your smoothie into a healthier more filling option. A full cocktail menu is also available as of today, which includes Miraval rosé wine, bellinis and the Cafe Livia Aperol Spritz, amongst others.
