2) Zeds Dead – January 9th – New City Gas

This Toronto toned duo’s love for Montreal is well known from the affection the crowd shows every time they play here. They played twice last year and are scheduled for another show at New City Gas at the start of January. Finds tickets here.

3) The Chainsmokers – January 10th – New City Gas

From speaking with Alex and Alex earlier this year at Igloofest in an interview, we can certainly say that The Chainsmokers are not to be missed. Their high energy and presence on stage seems perfectly catered to be seen at New City. Find tickets here.

4) Gui Boratto – January 16th – Igloofest

Prepare for the start of a spooky season on the first day of Igloofest as Gui Boratto leads with a deep set. This Brazilian native is an older and talented producer that is perfect to set the atmosphere for the final eleven dates of Igloofest. Find tickets here.

5) Flosstradamus and The Gaslamp Killer – January 18th – Igloofest

Flosstradamus and The Gaslamp Killer’s sets following each other is going to be absolutely chaotic. The Gaslamp Killer will first take the crowd on an odd ride over acid and electro before Flosstradamus deliver a frenzy of trap goodies.  Find tickets here.

6) Datsik – January 23rd – Metropolis

This is one artist I’m particularly excited to see at the start of 2015. Datsik has not performed in Montreal for quite some time unlike most of the musicians listed here. More importantly, he’ll be coming to Montreal with his Vortex to perform at Metropolis on an epic scale. As a fellow Canadian, I place a lot of respect in his skills and you can definitely expect more from Canada Nightlife about this show. Find tickets here.

7) Oliver Heldens & MANIK – January 25th – Igloofest

Oliver Heldens was easily Igloofest’s biggest addition this year because of what it means for future house fans everywhere. Finally this Dutch mastermind is making his way across the frozen waters to come perform at Montreal’s winter zoo. Prepare yourself for this absolutely massive night, my only concern is what the weather entails for the day of. Find tickets here.

8) Dubfire – Feburary 6th – Igloofest

Dubfire has moved directly into the realm of techno. What exactly that entails I have still yet to find out, but considering he moved from progressive sounds to a completely dark overall tone, I can only expect spooky results. Find tickets here.

9) Paul Woolford b2b Midland – Feburary 7th Igloofest

One of the final Igloofest weekends will see a massive collaboration of tech house artists combining forces. Paul Woolford playing a back to back set with guru Midland is going to be one of the most serious b2b sets all festival long. Find tickets here.

10) Brodinski & Club Cheval – Feburary 14th – SAT

Brodinski always manages to put on a great show when coming through Montreal because of the French crowd he attracts. Yet constantly appeasing to all fans, he can skillfully spin a quality set. Find tickets here.

11) Thomas Jack – February 23 – Le Belmont

I was lucky enough to meet Thomas behind stage at IleSoniq to ask about his music production, skills, and the future of tropical house. He was a cheery dude who threw down a great set of all shades of deep. A performance at Belmont can expect a rather darker mood for him to vibe in. Find tickets here.

12) Excision – March 4 – Metropolis

After having destroyed Metropolis earlier this year in March to a sold out crowd, it is exciting to see the return of a king. His Executioner Tour is a sensual overload and sonic vibration of extreme levels. Find tickets here.

13) Bakermat – April 3 – New City Gas

Bakermat was here earlier this year but played an unfortunately small set at Club Soda. To those lucky enough to behold Bakermat’s skills saw an amazing display on the saxophone. I can only imagine what a live Bakermat set would be to experience at a massive venue like NCG. Find tickets here.

14) Shlohmo – April 15 – SAT

Finally, the last event that has us so excited is Shlohmo’s just announced show at SAT in mid April. After having played OSHEAGA and the official Afterparty, this WE DID IT crew member is coming back once again to leave his mark on Montreal. Find tickets here.

 15) Knife Party and Armin Van Buuren – Escapade Festival – June 27 & 28 – Ottawa

It’s official, Escapade Festival’s headliner is finally announced as Knife Party. This annual festival in Ottawa takes place in the middle of the summer and welcomes a diverse lineup of all kinds of house music. Stay tuned on Canada Nightlife as more announcements get announced for 2015’s Escapade Lineup. And make sure to read 5 Things Only People Who Went To Escapade Will Remember.
